I like to listen to Goldfinger to lift my spirits.

They're upbeat, happy and excitable.

Slade’s Greatest hits.

It’s not humanly possible to listen to those boys belting out their classics without feeling uplifted by them.

To be fair they do have some amazing bangers.

And still the only rock band in history (until Metal band Sabaton did it) to belt out their most famous Christmas song no matter what time of the year it is

LONDON

Johnny Marr's live album, 'Adrenalin Baby'.

Or if I'm pissed off then 'Sempiternal' by Bring Me The Horizon.

Many moods require many albums.

Crazy For You - Best Coast

Summery pop rock with influences from old girl groups like the ronnettes. My favourite band and my favourite album.

Don't think I have any album that lightens my day. I'm sure that I must have at one time, but now even though I still love music and it plays a big part in the background of my life, everything just seems serious and sombre.
