When people put emoji rainbows on things... What are they trying to say/communicate?

I just like them. I use them a lot. They're just a little splash of colour.

Outside of fab, I love and appreciate their association with my gay family.

East London

I'd use them to signify happiness, or don't worry, after the rain comes the rainbow.

It's a bit happy. A bit kind. A little optimistic and a lot of hope.

All over

And that its an opinion not meant to offend or upset anyone and that they are not interested in the usual aggressive or insulting manner that some rather easily adopt to communicate on here in the anonymity of forums. Just my opinion, a symbol of live and peace and equality I suppose.

Manchester-ish

I use them in all of the ways mentioned above. I also like to use them where a smile doesn't feel appropriate.

I think it's used by some to indicate their perceived level of a moral higher ground.

They always feel like a little bit of joy and a dash of positivity to me.

And they double up for a bit of LGBTG+ pride/solidarity when it suits.

Good shout, the first presumption would be to signify gay pride for me but I see people using them completely unrelated to such topics lol
