Although I was obsessed with pearl jam back then I did appreciate soundgarden.

Great album and yes, a sad loss in Cornell.

Definitely one of the standout grunge bands for me,(alongside Alice in Chains). Cornell had such an incredible voice and is sorely missed.

I had the pleasure of meeting and interviewing them on that tour.

Lovely people, had a great laugh. Especially when Matt Cameron was ribbing Chris about his mountain biking obsession..

Still one of the finest live bands I ever saw. First time around 1989 at the Marquee last 1995.

Gutted we lost the big grunge singers. Chris being the best of a great bunch.

Best album they made, easily.

Funny thing, Grunge; the 'Big 4' sounded nothing remotely like each other.

Nirvana - Punk band

Alice in Chains - Metal band

Soundgarden - Black Sabbath reincarnated with a better singer.

Pearl Jam - Classic Rock
