Delightful Bliss

I've heard for the first time at the beginning of the film Crocodile Dundee being shown on tv

"This film contains humour from the era of the film"

I wonder if that is to be put on all the oldies but goldies movies...

Anyhoo what's your favourite oldie film

Woody Allen films.

Unless we’re going back to silent movies, then Nosferatu or The Somnambulist.

That’s a great idea. It’ll stop the folk with ‘modern sensitivities’ from crying at every opportunity

Some old Disney films have a warning just before the film starts.

The aristocats being one

Whats terrible is realising some of my favourite films, are now old.

So you can all just do one for that emotional damage I've suffered today

I think Lethal Weapon would come under the bracket of a film from a different time with unpleasant views expressed casually.

Rigg's views towards gay and lesbian relationships was always jarring, for such a otherwise, sardonic and playful character.

Read this morning the Bible has been banned from a school in Ohio due to pornography laws with all books removed from its library. Similar reasons given to the OP, that it is not a reflection of present times

I loved Crocodile Dundee as a kid but watching it back the sexism is unreal.

One of my favourite movies! I watch it every year. Still holds up except for one or two lines that show it's age.
