I was 13. and worked in Berick Street Market (in Soho, near where I used to live), selling fruit and a stall for my dads friend.

it was a Saturday and holiday job and I got paid £5 a day.

13 I had two jobs.

Paper round along the sea front where the affluent people lived so had great "tips" at Christmas.

Ice cream kiosk on the beach at weekends & school holidays. I developed a very strong wrist action from all the scooping & not from being slightly elovated and looking down at acres of cleavage on show all day. Oh to be a teenager again
