Ive just book a trip to cuba for 10 days and was wondering if anyone has gone there and whats it like ???

I went to Havana once by accident about 15 years ago and really liked it, but I havent been to any of the beach resorts. I liked Havana though.

I went to Varadero about 3 years ago was brilliant best holiday I have been on. Went to Havana for 2 nights loved it.

Will go back at some point defo.

Havana is amazing, poor place but best place I've ever been. Amazing people and amazing scenery.

A nice place with a very different culture so make sure you get out of any complex you may be in and see some of the real Cuba.

I went to Mexico but when I got there it was raining. So I went to the airline office at the airport and asked where I could fly to that afternoon where it wouldnt be raining and she checked the weather report and said Cuba.

So I ended up in Havana for a week until it stopped raining in Mexico

Melrose

J and I got married there in 2007

We stayed in the best hotel on the island - 5*, all inclusive and beautiful.

We did a lot of excursions too. Swam with dolphins, visited Havana and drank REAL daiquiris in Hemingway's bar....
