Incident Update .........

Had a very interesting telephone call this morning ................

re my incident in the car the other week and the lack of response by the AA.

a week ago I had a call asking me for feedback re me calling them for the above said incident ............... well you've guessed ....... they got it double barrelled and it was escalated into a complaint .......... had a letter last week telling me they were investigating and they would write back to me with their findings........ today I got a phonecall from the complaints department ............

a lovely lady told me that the AA were totally out of order, they should never have left anybody in such a vulnerable position and cannot express their apologies enough ........... upshot it they have a cheque being sent in the post today for the full amount it cost me to have the car towed by the police and stored overnight (£170.00) and the file is going back to the department that deals with incoming calls for the manager to discipline the original person I spoke to who didn't book the call, on top of that I do not have to pay any subscriptions until September (I pay monthly), when my renewal is due and when this comes through I am to telephone and they will make sure they do a better deal because of the amount of hassle I have had ............... whooo hoooo result ............

The Lady couldn't apologise enough - and I haven't had to provide proof either of how much it costs to be removed from the road so all this is just based on what I told them when they wanted feedback.

never ever accept the first offer they send you on renewal - they will always reduce it to keep your service

When your renewal is due consider green flag - was recommended to me by independent tow truck drivers who contract to all the major recovery companies as being the ones who enforce the quickest recoveries.

Brighton - even Hove!

Fellow Fabsters might like to know that Brighton ground to a halt yesterday afternoon/evening allegedly due to snow. The REAL reason was...... one guess only!!!!!
