When I'm looking through a profile and I see no Asian men, I get all confused. The reason being, I'm half Indian! Now I'm not white but I'm also not Asian...

Someone help me out with where I belong...

One very confused man (at least I think I am a man).

If you have an Indian twang to your accent then perhaps go Asian. Just put it in your profile!! Half Indian! Half English perhaps Scottish who knows lol. Nothin wrong with that

That would mean my parents are both mixed race. I'm English, just mixed races English! Haha, see how confusing it is?!

Which half of you is Indian ?

The front or the back, the left or the right, the top or the bottom ?

I would simply put on your profile that you are mixed race Indian / English.

It allows people to make a call on whether to contact you or not ?

Same with messages - highlight that you have clocked the 'no asian' part of their profile and as you are mixed race where does that leave you ?

For some it is a race thing - for others, I think it is a cultural / religious one.

Just better being patent from the outset, wish those who say 'no' well and concentrate your efforts on the ones that say 'yes please'

I doubt there are many profiles that state 'No Asians' amongst the many thousands that are on here, so it's not likely to be something you will have to lose sleep about that often.

If it worries you that much then simply avoid profiles that state 'No Asians'.

You know Jane, I have looked at many profiles and there a lot of "No Asians" and I have also seen a good number of "No Indians" as well...

Then simply pass them by...there are tens of thousands of other profiles to choose from.

I think this thread is more about questioning peoples preferences...
