Chelmsford

The Chief of Police has been previously criticized for the softly Softly approach to these Ban the oil activists.

One of his men has now dragged one of these oil types out of the road and dragged the bugger over tarmac and who do the BBC blame. The Police of course. The police can never win.

What's going on here guys. It's all over the news

Wow Tom, you almost sound like your standing up for the police

I haven't actually seen or read the story so can't comment.

Why don’t the government just stop new licensing of oil? Or even show commitment to it despite being presented with evidence of the benefits?

Also I’ve not read about it so can’t comment on this case but I’m not in favour of the police using this unnecessary levels of force in general. So it must’ve been a necessary amount.

Tom is "our man on the ground" news reporter!

He knows "da word on da street"

he is our very own "news of the world" but without the phone tapping!

We salute him!

our very own Fiona Bruce.

That’s a separate conversation. And I’ll not be accused of anything more in these forums.

You set yourself up to be holyer than thou then you set yourself up for criticism, if a policeman speeds when off duty he gets punished more because you have to lead by example

Tom is actually a big fan of those brave men and women who put on that uniform every day to keep us safe, never knowing what lays ahead that day and wether this is the day that they end up injured or worse.

Let's salute these brave buggers and not knock them. They may not be perfect but they are all we have. Tom is not reporting this. Just giving his opinion .....

Met police doing their job correctly and efficiently fi or once Tom.

See, they are not all bad. Maybe some of the colleagues of this officer need to follow his exemplary example of how to deal with these disruptive assholes.
