"21lbs gain in 3 months will mostly be fat. Better off going for a small calorie surplus over time and gain slowly with minimal fat gain. If you do go down the mass gainer route better to make your own and far cheaper. Oats, bananas, nuts, whey protein, calories soon add up." Read up about this method, seems the most logical so far, thanks for the advice!

"Aaaagh didn't realise you was a newbie, I thought you was just looking for a mass gainer which tastes better. As a newbie your going to get newbie mass gains. Which you'll never see again and you'll chase for the rest of your days haha. Don't waste your time at this point with mass gainers, you won't need it. Just start adding more protein via shakes bulk powers chocolate cookies is amazing :p and lean sources like chicken, if you need more fat in the macros olive oil is good to add to things or coconut oil with the added MCT. Thanks folks appreciate the feedback. New to the whole gym thing so trying to get some real world advice " Legend lad, thanks for the help!
