Afternoon tea

All over

I am organising afternoon tea for some special friends. I have been told I can choose the six sandwich items for the bottom tier and the six sweet items for the top tier (within reason). The middle tier will have scones, jam and cream. Any suggestions for tier 1 and tier 3? I am thinking some traditional ones like salmon and dill and macaroons but hoping for more exciting ones too. Thanks

I think I would google and try and get inspiration as not many into afternoon tea obviously. Appart from Greg Mitchell above who likes fat rascals and I think that was a good suggestion instead of the usual scones

It’s all a bit posh for me.

Stick some pickle onion monster much sarnies on the bottom.

Don’t like scones so you can keep them off my tiers.

Just bung some pork pie on there instead.

Top tier…..jam donuts.

There is an Åfternoon Teå event happening soon. I shall be making ALL the choices from the menu. The ladies simply have to turn up, sit down, bite and swallow.
