I don't know how quite to describe them. A group of adopted sisters find out their individual family histories, a bit romance, a bit historical fiction, a bit voyage of discovery with some mythological references thrown in. The Seven Sisters series by Lucinda Riley.

But if you want some smut or fantasy recommendations message me with other books you've enjoyed and I'll see what I can do as they are probably my favourite genres
