All over

Do you give meaning to your life by what you do though a combination of awareness, free will and perdonal responsibility (existentialist) or you don't really care as nothing matters or has any meaning and pointless to try to construct your own (nihilist) or perhaps you are (absurd) in that you accept that a search for meaning is inherently in conflict with the lack of it and just embrace what life has to offer?

What about predestination, or superstition, or just surviving, or reading the entrails of a goat to dictate the next step, or it's all mumbo jumbo, or life can be a bitch but I'll survive?

Isn’t predestination the same as nihilism?

Edinburgh (She/Her)

We are schooled to be part of the work force.

We are schooled to be the 2 point 4 family unit.

We are controlled to such a degree so that the illusion of having free time, is greater than we will ever have (which so happen to average out at about 180hrs in a whole year!)

We are controlled not to have free will.

We are essentially worker bees in the giant human hive. Each individual has its own department to work in. Construction, manufacturing education, health, baby making etc.

Once your apart of the system it is virtually impossible to escape the system.

Their is always a war, a murder, an accident a financial crash. All part of the fear conditioning. To keep free will at bay. The more you try to escape the more they buckle down the hatches and up the fear levels.

free will does not exist....

humans are the "borg" and you will be a simulated.

At the minute, the meaning of my life is what I contribute to others and if I no longer have that, I probably don't have an identity. It doesn't mean I want it to be that way, it just how the cards have been dealt

Well when you think about it, you are the only thing you know to exist.

I'm dudeist.

I abide. Try not go full Walter when someone pees on my rug, even though it really tied the room together. Fuck it let's go bowling.

To be honest I am kind of in the camusian absurdist camp. Any leap of faith is philosophical suicide.
