Anyone watching I kissed a boy on bbc iplayer?

Absolutely loving this series! Great to see the gay representation on a dating show! & it’s great it’s the first of its kind!

Yep, loving it and damn there are some good looking guys on there!

Good to see there is practically no OTT edited drama compared to other similar programmes.

And Dani's outfits are fire!!

My main issue with it is that the producers have gone for gay stereotypes

Young, decent bodies, fashionistas, diva-esque, drama type, feminine, queeny

I don't think they are necessarily representative

Most gay guys I know are very boring in their normality

But I guess there is no audience for normality

Not seen it but that's a problem with all those kind of shows. They never realy represent the general population.

Well they still have to make an entertaining show at the end of the day, so they will naturally gravitate to the more amplified characters among the applicants

I don't think it's necessarily helpful though

Showcasing stereotypes might be helpful for viewing figures, but the danger is that it skews opinions and perceptions of what a gay man looks and behaves like

I don't think the guys are all that hot

I thought the scouse lad was kinda hot and I think the mixed race guy has something cute about him, but the rest I wouldn't look at twice

(They can breathe a collective sigh of relief at that )

I really like it, just watching the first episode felt very awkward. It reminded me of sitting next to my parents when a sex scene came on TV awkward.

Just watched the last two episodes. Was hoping it would be longer than eight episodes but fingers crossed for another series.

"So, is the last one tomorrow? "

I've been watching them on Iplayer where they have been posting two episodes each Sunday. Episode 8 was the finale.

This is it. It's every goal to represent as much of the nation as possible but they have to still be entertaining.

Omg I love it!

It's no more stereotypical than Love Island. Reality TV producers go for young, good-looking people who are in shape. People like watching good-looking people, and the format of the show requires people who are attracted to one another.

It's worth pointing out that the show is, other than this, incredibly diverse, with candidates of different backgrounds, viewpoints, races, sexual preferences and experiences, and more.

I think it's a truly wonderful show and I can't wait for Season 2!

When you say "sexual preferences" did you mean body or type preference? As they are all gay, aren't all their sexual preferences the same? Men?

What would be thrilling is a series of fully bisexual women, men and all genders expressions. We have the "open season" element (everyone could fancy everyone else) but even more diversity that bisexuality offers... Now that would make a great series!

Ooooh thanks for reminding me.. I need to catch up with the latest episode. I didn't think I would enjoy the series but to my surprise I have. Now I would like I kissed a girl series (yes even though people are more accepting of girls kissing girls but would be interesting to see their perspective based on a kiss) Popcorn time

Hiiiii,

So I mean, some of the guys were bisexual and others gay. Some of them were swingers, and others monogamous. And there was a good mix of tops, bottoms, and Vers.

I love the idea of an open season bi one. Personally I hate the sun though. If we could hold it in a gothic mansion in England in the middle of winter, this would be ideal

Spoiler alert!!!!

Watched the last two episodes and it was kinda sweet and a little staged at the end. No major drama... Nice touch bringing family and friends together.

A point occured to me... Among the couples, who do you think has the bigger cock? Or are they pretty well matched?

Speaking from experience, you just can't tell!

P.S. Jake, if you're on Fab, you may do whatever you want with me. You are firmly in the "I would eat your shit" category. HMU

Lol that's true!

I didn't really fancy any of them... But I got the hots for a couple of the dads!

I just read on BBC Three website, there is going to be a Reunion episode next Sunday! Woohoo!

AND...

BBC are looking contestants for "I kissed a Girl"... Wowza! That'll be hot to watch!
