wet vac recommendation

i am going to clean the house of an old couple who have let the property fall into a bit of a state.

can anyone recommend a good wet vacuum which i can use of the carpets.

want to give this a try before paying to replace them,

You can hire one and it will be better than any you can buy as they are 'industrial ' quality.

Agree with all of the above it’s best to hire an industrial one, ideally a Karcher Pro Puzzi 10/1 1250W. I love seeing how filthy the water is when emptied lol
