buy your ideal holiday home if money and other stuff were not an issue. For me it would be Portugal or Greece. Lovely food, great people, gorgeous areas.

Probably one of the Canary Islands. Hot all year round and flights are relatively cheap.

If money was no object then I’d need somewhere to keep my fantasy airplane and some lovely weather to fly it in so I’ll say Spruce Creek Fly-in estate, Florida.

I wouldn't, for 2 reasons.

I don't want to visit the same place all the time or take accommodation away from the locals.

I would rather spend the money exploring the world and putting money into the local economy.

I’ve been thinking a lot about this, lately. I’ve never been to the Canary Islands but I hear the winters are very mild. Compared to somewhere like America, it’s close enough to Old Blighty to allow for quick jollies out there. Or even quick jollies back home if I’m taking an extended break.

Otherwise I’d probably do somewhere in the states.

Money no object I would buy up one of those decommissioned oil rigs and retrofit it into luxury home mini island / air b n b .

I am friends with an older chap that is currently doing this as a business. Looks awesome the conceptual work

Probably somewhere warm though not shitty North Sea

I think I'd want a ski chalet more than anything, so somewhere in the French Alps.

But I also love the Med, so I might need to grab a third place on Majorca or something.

The Finnish Lapland. A cosy house with a traditional sauna, northern lights visible from the bedrooms, nice walks into proper wilderness. Cold as fuck. But that's what makes it beautiful.
