"Red, pink, white or fizzy?"

Yes, all of it! I love anything from deep spicy Rhone reds to a Lambrini (arguably not wine I grant) in a tall glass with lots of ice on a blisteringly hot day...

NZ Sauv is my go to, although I'm quite partial to a good Rioja on occasion. Fizz has to be Laurent Perrier - rosé preferably, although when it comes down to it, the white will do me fine too.

K didn't used to be a wine drinker - as I didn't used to drink gin. We've educated each other

Whispering Angel is good; Rock Angel better; Miraval better still. But best of all is Tempier Rose. Has to be d*unk before the sun goes down, though. After that, the time for still rose has gone. Rose Champagne, however..

Red Rioja reserva/ gran reserva, medium to full bodied, either Tempranillo or Crianza although I don’t dislike Garnacha.

Also rosè Lambrusco, or a very very cold Mateus.

If it’s white, it has to be sweet and very cold too. There’s a Spanish one called Diamante with peach notes that is amazing!
