Next Door

Not often it happens, but today it has.

Clothes shopping, had a melt down as I really didn't enjoy seeing the reflection in the mirror when I was trying things on.

Returning items ASAP, covering mirrors at home.

Feeling pretty shit about me.

Has anyone else had moment like this?

Argh, yes. I'm sorry you didn't like what you saw, for what it's worth you look stunning to me!

I gather most of my excess weight around my stomach, makes trying new things on hard, so I feel you. But really, you do look great to me

This is a huge thing for me

I can see a cream cake and put a pound on.

I went to get some new casual shirts today and tried them on and refused to buy the next size up.

the abyss

I have one mirror that I can see myself in but have learnt the art of never actually looking in it.

Its a shame mirrors can't reflect to us what our loved ones see

All the time, it's not easy when your weight fluctuates and your body shape changes.

Sending hugs x

North West

I felt very similar when I saw my reflection in shop windows earlier. No outfit looks right when sat in the wheelchair, everything is designed for standing up and walking. I looked fucking ridiculous

For what it's worth, I think you look absolutely stunning!

I'm in n the same boat;struggling with looking in the mirror, and DREAD my photo being taken.
