Don’t you just love them. You have to ask yourself, are they ok?, when a person takes it upon themselves to send a complete stranger abuse for no reason whatsoever.

I’ve never been offended, it mostly makes me laugh. Especially when they make mistakes such as “you’re massive” I feel it’s only necessary to reply and correct them.

I also love sending the most sarcastic responses. Like pretending I never knew what they were insulting me about. Then what happens is they either block me or try and turn the conversation around to get me to engage in conversation with them.

The purpose of this is just to say please be kind. I couldn’t care less about abuse, as I said, it amuses me. Howeve, I hate the thought of someone else getting abuse and it upsetting them or making them feel self conscious.

Let’s be nicer to each other, we are all trying our best

Try & ignore him/them, everyone likes different shapes & sizes but some idiots decide to comment on what doesn't appeal to them which makes no sense.

Enjoy the ones you click with. X

It's weird, right?

I had a guy who went out of his way to message me to say he was amazed anyone would be interested in me and my big arse. I did point out I do alright in spite of it I mean not everyone is for everyone, why not just keep on scrolling by instead of wasting two minutes of my life & his... Weird!

It's never appropriate and it's sad that some behave like this.

To prevent those of us who aren't as thick skinned, or any of us at the wrong point, from getting hurt, I think it's best not to give abusers anything back. And to report to Admin.

Some people hide behind a keyboard and when they lack confidence or see the kind of confidence in other people, especialy sexual confidence they lack or good only dream of habving, the only response they have is negative as this is a reflection of how they live their entire life. Their abuse is a reflection of them only and they sad lives.

ANd I for one very much like someone arse and face

Will never understand why people do these things. If you have to attack another person in any kind of way to feel superior or better about yourself, then you've already proved your inferiority

If only everyone could understand that being nice and making others feel happy will in turn improve your own happiness and self worth.

Keep being you op, you are so much better than them!

I agree with you all. Unfortunately you can’t force people to be nice. Hopefully one day they’ll meet someone who can show them how to be a good person.

I’d like to add that abusive comments are also sometimes spewed by some ladies on here for the sake of balance.

There are some very sick & sad people about... Why else be abusive to a someone for no reason...

My personal fave are the ones who send a "hi" message, quickly followed by a "?" message. Then finally sending an abusive message all within bout 5mins of the original message of that you haven't read yet anyway...

My recent experience was not abuse aimed at me personally but at someone else. The abuser thought it appropriate to name the abused in their status update.

I assume people being abusive are just projecting how they actually feel about themselves.

There’s a lot to unpack here, as we live in an instant world, where potentially you don’t really have to try, yet the reality is people need to try much harder than ever, nothings initially face to face, these abusive people are lost, some we could rescue and put them right mmmmmm right and others well we shall just let them go on their own merry journey blaming everyone else for shortcomings, it’s sad that we are where we are, it’s sad that people don’t know how to interact and it’s sad that people are so so lonely, replying with sarcasm is the only way to deal with it, not only it shows the abuser they are powerless and words won’t hurt, but it shows a sense of humour and personality which ultimately the abusive message sender is missing out on, double whammy for them, we salute you OP, keep that shit up

I've had a few lately. Not really abusive but horrible enough.

Apparently I'm entitled and arrogant.

If I am then at least point it out but explain why or how you got to that conclusion.

Never sent an abusive message on here and no intentions to do so ever in the future. As I don’t really spend too much time on the forums anymore I don’t get them out of the blue or over something I’ve commented on recently.

I have absolutely no respect for those who send them and they have absolutely no effect on me when I’ve received them in the past.

It would really hurt me if a friend or someone I know would be uncharacteristically rude or hurtful. Some no mark on a website forum is going to have to dig really deep into my psyche, to get anywhere near hurting my feelings.

In my happy place

I used to send no thanks I'm not looking replies.

But their self esteem is low so abuse comes back.

So I just delete the whingers now. The sense of entitlement though, that really is annoying at times.
