Laudable

........work beckons!

This is my take on Stand and Stare....................

Today I stood and stared

About the world I couldn’t have cared

I looked over a beautiful sight

And my world for once was all right

What was it that caught my eye?

A sight so wondrous it made me cry

A view over the Upper Eden Valley

In the hustle of life it made me dally

The morning so cold and crisp

A haze of mist painted like a wisp

Winding around the grounds undulations

The mazy track woven into manipulations

This beautiful serenity a calm and delight

Can I stay until the fall of night?

No be gone and once again start to care

Into the worlds a soul to bare

My brush with serenity is all to brief

The world is back, to creep up as a thief

And whisk me away to reality and all

Could be said to be a wake up call
