In. Absolutely in. With dress trousers or jeans. Even better on a woman with bed head

Depends on the type of shirt. Formal shirt, then in. Casual shirt, then out

Depends on the person, some people make shirts untucked look good and others look a scruff.

"Work - in

Agree with the short sleeve, last thing you want is looking like a supply teacher

This is what puts me off wearing shirts. Tucking in with a suit - of course. No other option. But shirt and jeans is a minefield. Tucked in feels weird. Untucked looks weird. Can’t win.

The more men wear shirts the less of a dilemma this would be

With a suit, tucked in.

Cufflinks a lovely bonus

The rest of the time it varies. Whatever you do, do it with confidence and own it. That's what makes it sexy too

My nan’s spare room.

"I prefer to see them on the bedroom floor "

You’ve seen my wardrobe then.

I wear shirts typically tucked in if pants are buttoned and belted.

I never wear short sleeve shirts but unless I’m wearing a tie I always roll the cuffs part way up the forearm.

Flagrante

Casual with jeans, out, suited and booted, in.

Summer with shorts or short sleeved shirts out, I reckon. It depends how formal the occasion is though.

Formal shirts - tucked in.

Informal - untucked. Anything tucked in makes you look like my Dad or someone who shops at M&S or C&A/Debenhams.

Short sleeved shirts - should not be worn by any man with a shred of fashion sense or decency. Get a good long sleeved one and roll the sleeves up. Otherwise, and again, you're my Dad.

"I tuck mine in to hide the jelly roll in the middle"

Surely that would accentuate it?

With it loose there is a slim chance that people might think the shirt is hanging vertically down from a muscular chest!
