I have just found out that my ex has just gotten into another relationship after being broken up not that long (thus me coming back on here again). I keep getting people asking me if I am ok and all that nonsense, so my question is: am I meant to feel something?

Been left confused here and need some advice :/

was she a short term partner? Was you married? Did you have children together?

Im sure different people react differently. If it was just a short term partner i personally wouldnt be bothered

She thought I was cheating when I told her I was in gym (which I was by the way before any ideas start flying about)

Confused about what? Breaking up? People asking you about it? Your ex finding someone else quicker than you have? You not feeling anything about it?

You're confused??????

You are 22, presumably your ex is around the same age. I split with a partner of 6 yrs through her jealousy, I met her when I was 22 & she was 27 . I could not even talk to another woman without her wanting to know almost every word that had been spoken.

After many accusations about my infidelity it all became rather tedious so I actually went out and pulled a "stunna" from The Rockhouse (our local nightclub).

Consequently our relationship became less tenable and I called time on it

We still talk though but you are young and will move on

should you be feeling something? yes of course you should.

I have no idea what tho, that would depend on the circumstances. Sooner or later you will surely feel something and that's when you react to that and move on.

That of course may be total bollocks and may not apply to you but it certainly did to me a lifetime ago

think you answered your own question, if you have to ask whether you should or do feel something......... then you obviously don't

No, you're not meant to feel anything. She was just another shag, and there'll be plenty more and much better.

5 months? Still honeymoon period.

I think it's because she got with someone so quick.

To be blunt, she probably did feel that much for you to do that.

Just my opinion anyways

Best advice is to acknowledge how you feel, and to accept that is right for you. Where someone's in pain, it's not necessarily wrong, it's an indication that something's affected them, and they may be recovering, or need to pay attention to something (some of us don't, until we get loud alarm bells).

As it is, you're feeling pretty fine, so you sound healthy, and this is better than pretending to feel something different, just to fit in with other's expectations. So, enjoy being single and any pleasures you may have via Fab or elsewhere
