I've spent over ten years asking people, friends, colleagues, family etc etc if they remember Cloppa Castle.

Finally someone here remembers it.

"The White Horses, Robinson Crusoe.

Not sure if they appeared in Why don't you?"

The Adventures of Robinson Crusoe was shown as a series every few years between 1965 and 1982, after which it was laid to rest in a French archive, but later surfaced on video and DVD releases.

Yes it was. I had to Google as I only really remember the name and a character which made me think of a sunflower. Turns out it was just very round headed and yellow. Looks like it was shown on BBC1 between 88 and 93

I was coming on to mention HR Pufnstuf. My favourite when I was a kid.

There was also 'lidsville' made by the same company.

Catweazle, wooden tops, Andy Pandy, watch with mother, tales of the riverbank, Chigley/Trumpton, timeslip, Follyfoot, Tomorrow people. Captain Scarlet, Joe 90, Thunderbirds; I could go on and on!

Showing our age but TV was far better in the 60s & 70s.
