I have a smart as you can get bearded collie, she is off proper working stock, obedient and runs rings around my other dog. A dafter than daft labradoodle, who steals laundry and eats everything in sight. He's either running round in a manic sprint bouncing off the walls or he just sits there tongue lolling looking so pleased with himself... what does that say about me then?

We got a cat called Oscar, well, actually he is "my" cat, as in he bullies the kids and dislikes the wife, to the point he tries to push her out of our bed when I am not here, and when I am he deliberately wakes her up several times a night!!

He teases dogs by sitting on the window sill and tapping on the glass to get their attention when they walk past.

A world of my own

Don't have any pets now, but the last ones we had were 2 rats called Grant and Phil, they were so intelligent, had the run off the house when we were home, Phil was the nosey explorer who never stayed still, Grant just used to curl up either on your shoulder or by your side and sleep.

Two cats here ... both totally different in nature. Both female, but one a lazy domestic moggy who finds it hard work to yawn ... the other has homicidal tendencies and reminds me of the cat in the mousehunt film .... neither of us has either of those traits .... well only sometimes

A cat and a dog here!

The puss is female moggy and is quite shy but very affectionate once she knows you.

The pooch is an "it" and thinks he is really big dog (he is a Border Terrier). He is a lovely boy and loves me to bits!

They are my kid substitutes!

We have the most wonderful Labrador cross I got from a rescue as a pup. She’s kept me sane and grounded over the past couple of years, no matter what the circumstances she’s simply there.

We also have the most neurotic cat – always looking for attention but hides away.

The odd thing with the both of them is they love my visitors – I seem to fade into the background when people come around.

I hate gerbils.

And they really DO eat the homework books!!!!

I had that when i was a kid - i was away a week (looking after the school gerbils during the 6 weeks holiday) and when i got back my mum looked really guilty - i said whats up- she said the gerbils escaped while you was away....

...FOR THE WHOle WEEK!!!

.

She was too scared to catch em incase they bit her.

They chewed EVERYTHING - my curtains, my bed, my pillows, my duvet, my books, my wardrobes, the teddy bears, the clothes in my clothes bucket, EVERYTHING!!!!

Was not impressed , lol
