Hi, as it's MH awareness week, thought it'd be a good reminder to set yourself some time for a bit of self care today.

What will you do FOR YOURSELF?? and no, doesn't have to be sexual!!

Hello and happy Saturday!

Nice idea for a thread. We go for runs and fuck random people, not at the same though (groans). Getting away in the Motorhome is good too.

Warning: Endorphins from exercise can be addictive and you could yourself dancing on your own in the supermarket aisles to cheesy music on the tannoy.

What do you do?

I’m going to try and get back to the gym today. It is a big help for me when it comes to MH.

I am an infrequent user but hopefully today I can start to get back into a routine again

I've had a bit of an unsocial week this week which is bad for my mental health and I have been feeling it slipping. Today I'm going to try and find some social interaction to recharge that battery.

Aww this is lovely OP!

Today I'm going to go foraging for some more wild garlic before it's out of season - taking that time to be in nature, not on my phone and doing a simple task is really soul soothing. This afternoon I'm going to wash my hair - there's a lot of it and I love the ritual of each step. And then I might cut that fringe I've been wanting for a couple of months now.

STEVENAGE

Regular power walks. 4mph average speed for around 45mins. I love the feeling afterwards when im hot n bothered, but feeling energised.

I have been on a weight loss journey for 12months (7st loss so far and 1st more to go) and now have a good relationship with food. Walking helps keep my fitness up and clears my head.

I myself have battles with my MH. I'm a single parent of 2 sons with SEN and they're at their fathers today, so I'll probably clean the house, then do some gardening and hoping to get the inflatable hot tub up so I can have a little pamper later and just try relax. My inbox is open if anyone needs a chat today, I will be on my own all day so nice to have a distraction.

I also need to get back to the gym. Time is something I don't have alot of, but you've inspired me, maybe later today xx

It's so beautiful isn't if? It makes me all nostalgic and happy.

Lots of things - a healthy amount of wild garlic butter so I can whack it in the freezer and enjoy it all year round. In risotto, snipped and liberally sprinkled on - it works really well with cara_elised, roasted butternut squash and fresh goats cheese.

I also love love love it in tartiflette - it's not as strong as garlic and because it's quite a rich dish it lends itself well to adding a gentle additional note.

Sometimes I'll roast a whole chicken with tarragon and wild garlic, cooking it on a bed of chantenay carrots so you have this delicious sweet and garlicky sauce at the end you can dip crusty bread in and enjoy with warm chicken heaped on top of it.

I clearly like food.

It’s definitely not as strong tasting as garlic which I love but I do think it’s a much better flavour. I guess I will be out later too now

Today I will be at work until 17:00 and then home, relax, cook some good food. Listen to a great album and then probably fall asleep before work tomorrow. But you’re so right about looking after your own mental health.

For me it’s spending time with my daughter, walking my dog, hitting the hills and getting out for a run.

Hope you’re all ok, for those that aren’t and:or struggling, please reach out. Admitting you need help is the biggest challenge to feeling you again!

Ha! I think I love cooking almost as much as I love cock worshipping.

And Marc - definitely go and get some - it's the perfect day for foraging and relaxing. I hope you enjoy your day, wild garlic or not, x

I was having a coffee trying to plan my day thinking where to walk the pup, I’m now inspired, reminded me of an amazing walk completely lined with wild garlic, used to go all the time with Mum, thanks I’m looking forward to going back not been in years xx.

Exercise and pamper. Coming down from a 'high' of socialising! Time for oneself is as important as the one with friends. Luckily I am blessed with both.

My head has been a bit of a mess this week but I’ve found two trips to the coast have helped me make sense of things and try to put a positive spin on what happened

So today I’m meeting friends for lunch on the coast. Good food, great views and the best company.

Today. I am trying to avoid being on here but the pervert in me is struggling lol.

I am actually reading and trying to embrace/learn about taosim.

The principles and ethos behind living in the moment. Being compassionate whilst remaining simplistic in nature. I just got back from sitting on a park bench and watched the world go by for an hour. Difficult for me because I'm always on the go but after 15 minutes my mind went blank and I began to absorb everything around me.

Quite interesting watching other people, nature itself and how it behaves.
