Spanish is ok but I'd love to meet a woman or couple who could help me improve.. used to belong to a meetup group where native Spanish speakers would help you improve in return for is helping them with their English. That worked well.

I have noticed that my ex pat friends and family whose native language is English tend to lose their English vocabulary if they don't speak it often.

My French and German are ok, my Thai is pretty good, although I’ve only been able to use it twice.. and in both times I’ve visited I could have got by with just English..

I’m enjoying learning Greek though.

Apparently by 2050 I'm supposed to speak Welsh (or so the target goes). I did try with someone once about 15 years ago, but there's just no need and I don't really like what it's come to represent now, and how it's been pushed on us either tbh. I'm just a lazy Brit at the end of the day! Spoilt with the English language. Congratulations here to people who do speak another one though! pt
