I was ‘dragged’ along to a Justin Timberlake gig once.

Never really like him, the music, and wasn’t thrilled at the prospect.

But, it was an outstanding show. The fella can carry a tune, and knows how to entertain.

Not a band ...but I saw Lady Gaga at the radio 1 weekender. At the time I didn't mind her music ...but have to say the live performance...was unreal.

Bjork. Was never a fan of her music, but saw her at a festival in the 90's and it was one hell of a show.

Tends to be the smaller, support bands I'd not really heard of at that point.

More recent years .... Nothing More, The Cruel Knives.

Older .... Amen, King Adora, The Bronx, Backyard Babies.

Many more.

And a couple of more we'll known ones .... Pulp, Take That on their circus tour, Natasha Bedingfield, Puddle of Mudd, Skid Row.

Seeing Black Stone Cherry on an early tour with Rival Sons on support and the Rival Sons blew them away with only 5 tracks. I will remember that night for some time.

Coldplay. Couldn't stand them and they were headliners at the Isle of Wight festival so it was either watch them or sit on my own. Have to admit they were excellent.

Nickelback I know they get a lot of hate but actually really good live.

I used to work at the Manchester Arena in the offices above and on a Friday we used to get cut price tickets from gigs that hadn’t sold well. So to fill the place you got tickets for anywhere between £5-15, they were a fiver. It was a good gig I enjoyed it.

T in the park 2008- I snagged a last minute ticket because a barmaid I knew caught her boyfriend cheating the weekend before, so she sold me his ticket as a fuck you.

Kaiser Chiefs headlined the Saturday night and phoned it in, but I chatted to Amy Winehouse for about 10 minutes while we queued for the portaloos in a random corner of the site. Sharlene Spiteri kicked arse, but seeing Amy MacDonald in front of her home crowd was absolutely epic.

Pearce Brothers. Played a mid afternoon slot at a festival where everyone was concentrating on beer and sunshine. By the time they finished they had the whole crowd standing and dancing. Two guys with more energy and fun than any band I've ever seen.

The Feeling.

Went to see Bon Jovi in Manchester somewhere between 03 and 06. 1st support was Monster Magnet, who were a bit heavy for my tastes back them and I wish I could have appreciated it as much as I would now, but 2nd support was The Feeling and they were amazing. Absolutely blown away and bought 2 albums the next day.
