Men- Tell me something about stretch marks. Do you get them? Where do you get them? How do you feel about them? Do they affect your self esteem?

Also this is ofc for anyone to post on but it’s nice when you boys open up to me

I got a whole load of them.

I was once, enormous in size.now I’m smaller, the inevitable damage shows up in the form of loose skin and stretch marks.

Nowt I can do about them bar embrace them as a reminder of where not to take my life choices.

Got them on my back from when I grew too quickly as a teenager. Had comments in the past that it looks like I've been whipped repeatedly. They've faded but are still there.

I don't have stretch marks.

That would insinuate that I stretch, and as a form of exercise that's just not gonna fucking happen.

I think I've got a few on my bum (I've got a lot of junk in the trunk), but they're quite subtle. I can't say I think about them much, and they don't bother me. Maybe that's because they're out of sight, I don't know.

A has them on the front of his chest up by his armpits, and also on his lower back.

We call them his tiger stripes

I have some around my biceps and it proper puts me off wearing vests or sleeves that are too short. Even got some on my tummy now because my weight keeps fluctuating and I think less so with people from fab but generally it makes me uncomfortable when I get down to the sex for the first time

Girls dig scars. Only because they're nosey and want to know the story behind them. Make something up. Never let the truth get in the way of a good story!

Never had them myself. My youngest has them on his upper arms.

Never noticed them really and he wears vests all the time.

Mr KC has a few on the bottom of his back and hips and he's always been very, very slim. So I don't think they're only caused by gaining weight. I don't think he's bothered by them. He certainly doesn't mind mine (I'm an actual tiger )

Woman of this couple here. I love them, especially kissing/licking them. They are part of the whole person and matter not. Everyones part of your journey. I love scars to x

Are they horizontal lines towards your lower back ?

If so I have the same ones I often wondered how I got them.

Stretch marks wouldn't bother me, no one is perfect and it's the person that's important.

I’m getting the itch to get back into powerlifting, but inevitably i end up a fat potato and don’t want more stretch marks.

I’ve got loads but they’ve never bothered me at all. I struggled with my weight when I was younger so I have a few from that and I also have a few around my chest and arms from lifting weights.

I’m 47 OP, I’ve stretch marks on my waist… I’m not ashamed of them if I’m honest. It’s a reminder of my daily battle with Ginsters pasty’s and hobnobs

Haha. A far potato isn't what the rest of us see good sir.

I'll be starting again next month. I've had two ops this year that have set me back loads. That and being a lazy, tired fucker

My bench massively lets me down. Was tempted to jump on the Andy Bolton deadlift challenge.

Every time I went for a heavy lifting period I would get loads around my shoulders and arms, pec minor and delts area are bad, but they don't bother me so much as the only time they really show is when I'm lifting

I don't have a beach body so it's never been an issue but from weight gain around the waist definitely, and they are little more self conscious for me.

Tiger stripes / life marks. They are earned with lived in experience and to be embraced

If people are dismissive of others with them then they are just simply imbeciles and worthless people to know/ meet

A couple few around my biceps and a couple on the flanks of my belly. They have faded overtime. Had them since a teenager. A love of playing rugby and discovering beer I think seen both areas expand rapidly as a teen as I grew both stronger and broader (I was a Prop). Never bothered me in the slightest. But then that's probably easy to say as a guy not held to the same beauty standards.
