What horror monster scares you the most? Can be an animal or mythical creature and I will allow zombies and vampires

So name the creature and the film

Sunniest Exeter...

Not sure about scary for me, certainly an excellent effort was made with the weeping angels from Doctor Who. (only the first time, then they got less scary)

A creature that could only move when it wasnt being looked at. A daft premise, but incredible when brought to the screen.

2nd vote for the weeping angels in their first episode. One of the few things that has left me with genuine shivers

Blair witch!!

Candy man. Freddie. IT.

There's a new film out where the monster crawls towards you twisting and turning it's body with a freaky face! I won't be watching that!

Somewhere In The Ether…

For me personally, it would have to be werewolves.

The primal, inhuman and predatory savagery they exhibit makes them rather terrifying in my book.

I think it's because of the fact that toys and dolls are things which people usually have in their houses. One random night you suddenly wake up and see a doll nearby, it really freaks you out.

As a bairn I was at my sisters and her bloke at the time was watching puppet master and I begged my sister to let me watch it and eventually she gave in, result was the next 3 years or so being absolutely fucking terrified of the puppets especially the one with the drill on his head

Watching the film back now it’s laughably bad but when you 8 you don’t see it haha

In my c.hildhood I remember being terrified watching jeepers creepers when it came out..

Especially the scene where the creeper is injured and it follows the main characters to a police station where it ends up eating the prisoners in their holding cells and some off the police officers one by one to regenerate its damaged body parts..

That or it’s lair underground the abandoned church where it’s past victims bodies throughout the centuries it has killed are all pinned up against the ceiling with a look off petrified terror on their face…

Love watching it now though as with age I have become more deranged and sinister
