I enjoyed the film but that was manly because of Regé-Jean Page. X

I enjoyed the film, and definitely agree about Hugh Grant enjoying the role. The humour was key to it being better than some of the previous D&D films that were just awful.

And being a role player, even if not a hard core D&D player, it was nice to see the Faerun setting used rather than making up a new setting.

Agree with this, they crowbarred in a lot of faerun for a feature film, and it was flashy (following the recent star trek/star wars/mcu trend of quippy delivery), but joyously fun.

Would be nice to see a series where an adventure could be rolled out over 8+ hours, especially if it was like Fargo or True Detective, where one series is only obliquely related to the other, taking part in the same world but with different characters and villains (again like they're doing with Star Wars).

I have to say as someone who’s never played D&D I thoroughly enjoyed that movie
