I have just been to see the Les Miserables film and absolutely loved it. I had been dying to see it as soon as I saw the trailer for it but had heard some disappointing reviews. I wasn't at all disappointed and thought it was one of the most amazing things I've ever seen!!

Has anyone else seen it and what did you think?

I saw it last week, sorry to say it just bored me silly after the first 40 mins. Most people i have spoken to loved it though, so I guess i just bore too easily.

Have seen the stage show a few times and loved it, I was not disappointed with the film. Silk on the other hand did not like it so much, he enjoyed the storyline but not the singing. I think it is worth seeing even if it's not your thing the actors are great the whole film is shot beautifully. MissD xxx

I enjoyed it. But I don't think (with the exception of Eddie Redmayne and Susanna Bark and Anne Hathaway) that the quality and tone of the singing was anywhere near.the quality of the stage show performers.

Entertaining film, but the stand out songs didn't stand out!!! Eg: Stars.

I hope everyone realises that the singing wasnt recorded...everyone sung as they worked on the set....(real time)

No dubbing etc was done...

brilliant

we saw it at imax- stunning visuals- we have seen the stage show 4 times- the singing in general not as good as live theatre but Anne Hathaway and Eddie Redmayne I thought did very well getting the emotion across will deffo buy the blue ray when it comes out
