So why don't men wear perfume and woman aftershave? Surely we are attracted to the smell we like? How often does a person pass someone of the same sex and they smell nice? As a men you could smell your favourite aftershave on a woman and have more attraction to them...thats it..carry on smashing Tuesday x

"What I like on me isn't what I like on other people "

And you could mean just perfumes for women...

I love perfume, EdT, etc and for women's fragrances, tend to be based on flowers and top-note fruits like peaches. I still love Elizabeth Arden's Sunflower and wear it almost every day.

Men's Cologne, after shave and EdT are based on woody (cedar, sandalwood) and spicy notes (cinnamon, cardoman).

As I find musky scents (and even diesel) sexy on a man, I'm not sure I would find a man smelling floral that sexy...

Wear whatever scent you like op, the label is only the advertising. It’s your preference that matters most, you’re wearing it, enjoy it

It's probably worth trying different perfumes/aftershaves. I often wear men's or unisex scents as they seem to suit me best.

I've worn a perfume for a while and had numerous people comment on my aftershave.

As we say it's just the label

I used to love that! But mainly Acqua Di Parma.

I don't fancy smelling like a bunch of flowers but I don't mind it on a woman, same as I don't fancy wearing a LBD but I like them on women

Manchester (she/her)

I've never worn fragrance labelled for men, but I'm not opposed to the idea, and if a man wore a fragrance labelled for a woman, then more power to him.

Which perfume is it you wear?

In the days when I was DRAB (Dressed As A Boy), I wore Aramis 900 (for men) and my colleague was convinced it was Clinique's Aromatics Elixir... We brought our bottles in the next day and they are identical.

I wear aftershave all the time. If it’s there and I can’t be bothered going to get my own I’ll just use some of his

As a teen I'd sometimes spritz myself in Fahrenheit, but then I also used to douse myself in Dewberry, & white Musk from the Body Shop too

I loved that! Can you still get it?

Top notes of Jasmin and mid notes of plums/nectarines I think?

I think there are enough fragrances out there that cater to all, you just have to look.

I like woody earthy scents, Bergamot, Sandalwood and Patchouli and I now tend to wear perfumes from Lush that have those ingredients. In the summer I wear Lemony scents.

Halfeti is beautiful - Penhaligon's is underrated and a joy to introduce people to.
