Lube shave

Anyone ever tried shaving with water based lube?

Not sure what occurred to me but this morning thought I give it a try. I shave with single blade razor and To my surprise it was the fastest, easiest and best ever closest shave I have ever had with zero nicks, cuts or razor burn.

Feel like I have unlocked a secret but am sure someone has tried this before.

Shaving foam is cheaper. I can’t see this catching on.

No I haven't. I use hair conditioner, works better than shaving foam.

Wasn’t about going cheap, current and recent shaving gels and foams I have used have been anything from £11 to £20. Nothing has come close to this £4 water based gel.
