Hoping to make it a weekly thing, so we can share with each other our wins, big or small.

Ours was getting through the SATs week, so proud of my daughter and all the children who need an extra help and support.

I'm still alive!

Congrats on the stats. A truly wasteful thing to put kids through

Well done!

As a former teacher who left the profession I’m glad it’s over.

This, glad its over thought and mine has been spoilt all weekend as a well deserved reward.

Well done to your daughter.

The stress is so hard. So well done to you too

I finally did something I've talked about for years. Set up my own consultancy company. Still lots to do but it now officially exists

Oh that's fantastic, well done you! x

Mine is a small one, kind of silly. I'm quite rubbish at stating my boundaries clearly. Or saying openly how I feel about things. Really feel. I'm a bit of a people pleaser and try and keep the peace.

Anyway, this week, I've been very clear in my communications. And I like that for me. So, that's my achievement.

Sagittarius A

I had a random epiphany that gave me both elation and sadness simultaneously.

It made me feel alive.

Also there was some milk left in the fridge this morning, for my coffee.

And now I have my funky groove back on.

Well done, that's no mean feat I know

My little win is being back at the gym, I'm a working progress I know but it feels good

Nottingham

Little wins.

Having one Son finish his first year in Uni.

Having our second son finish sixth form.

Our youngest son was presented an Award in assembly for his resilience and team work.

Our Daughter has conquered her fear of travelling alone to school.

Big little wins.

It's been quite a year this week in my house,

Set off well,

Shopping trip with besty on Tuesday,

Lunch with mum Wednesday,

Then it all went a bit south,

Son was taken ill on Wednesday evening which then rendered the rest of the weeks plans (my birthday Thursday and a day riding with a good friend, and a threesome I feel like I've waited forever for on Friday) completely scuppered.

Woke up at 5 Wednesday morning, was still awake at midnight Thursday, i did think for a while we'd end up as inpatients on children's wards, but we managed to escape that horror (son is profoundly disabled, and has a vast list of disabilities so it was all pretty fraught!) And he seems to be on the mend now, thank goodness.....

So yeah my victory this week is somehow staying alive, despite a grand total of 15hrs sleep in 5 days!

My win this week is not giving into the need for pain to deal with the emotions of my dad's funeral and shoving myself out to meet friends and not isolating myself in the flat

Sorry for your loss, but well done getting yourself out and about. Lost my mum a couple of months ago so know how hard that can be.

My win this week was getting through all the adulting I’ve had to do

So sorry for your loss. Give yourself enough time to grief, we often forget how important the grieving process is, however long it takes.
