Morning lovely fabbers in my phone

Many of us have been hanging out in the forums in various guises on and off for many years.

People change and evolve and names come and go.

Its lovely to see people you remember but equally make new friends too.

The forum has always been a wonderful mix of interesting and unique characters.

Have you changed over the years?

Who were you before?

Consider this like a reunion but hopefully without the awkwardness.

We were “yorkscpl22” but the name was so boring we had to change it!! We live in a village full of prudes and quite snobby people, most treat us like the village villains, so we thought why not embrace it and wear the badge

We never ventured into the forums as they were an unknown entity for a pair of somewhat newbies.

Nowadays, we pretty much post on any subject that takes our eye and its a small window into others personalities.

Something like M40Slim or something similar.. Infact an old fab friend still calls me Slim ( as a nickname) .. Sadly I'm not as slim anymore

I think my original name here was Ribena

That was like donkey's years ago tho

I then had Bus Wanker (that one went a bit weird ), so it changed to Bussy and that's kinda stuck

I don't know how long I've been on and off here exactly - my guess would be 12-13 years which is kinda scary in itself

I have usually been HKPhooey reflecting a childhood nickname, but a few years ago an ex FWB became jealous and started abusing my friends and stalking, so I left and when I came back was TheReturnee. With the pandemic I left the site and came back about a year ago with my original name.

I'll always remember you as Bussy.

My original (2008 vintage) profile was JtPeg which lasted a few years til some fucknugget tried to out me to my then employers, so it bit the dust and became Obi Haive. When I 'teamed up' with Fox in 2012 I deleted the solo profile and we've been the same since then. We'd confuse ourselves if we ever changed it so it'll be left the same til the world ends/one of us gets struck by lightening/we're abducted by aliens.

It always takes me a while to spot returning fabbers when they pop up with new identities.

Most take a while anyway. Some you spot instantly as they stick out like a turd in a fruit salad.....

I joined as MilesSmiles.

For the first few years I was called Pickets, but I never posted/lurked on the forums. I didn’t even know they existed!

I picked that name at random purely because, when prompted, I was listening to a song by The Flying Pickets. But I always disliked it so eventually got round to picking something fun
