Get a train to Bergamo for the day if you got time. The Duomo (Cathedral) worth a visit and a tonne of great Art in Picobera Gallery. Ciao ??

London

The Duemo and main square are impressive (you can do a rooftop walk). If you’re a football fan then obviously a San Siro tour or even better catch a game. Other than that, there is the famous shopping street.

I actually found Milan pretty dull though and not as nice as other Italian cities I’ve been to.

All over

Depending on the size of your credit card and how you may be able to handle the price shock, you can do some shopping and get yourself some new wardrobe items?

The main piazza with the cathedral is pretty impressive.

The Vottoria Emanuelle shopping mall is worth a look too.

The restaurants in there look exclusive but the prices were surprisingly reasonable e.g €10 for a pizza.

There's a park with an "Arc De Triomphe" type of thing too.

The pavements can be narrow and there's trams on the road, so I found it extremely crowded.

Its a business city rather than a tourist attraction but you'll see toilets that are just a hole in the ground, it has a cathedral and fountains, if you like old buildings it has Sforzesco in castle,Duomo di milano catholic church, Teatro alla scalla a theatre, somewhere pleasant to drink down by the riverside in the navigilli district

Was just looking at spending new year there. Cheap Ryanair flights and Airbnb. I'm a bit nervous I've never been before. Still thinking about it
