Who still buys the branded food items in the Supermarkets?

We have changed to the standard brands on most items apart from tea bags, we get Yorkshire tea bags.

Tinned food is normally the store own brand.

Cant really tell much difference.

In a ball gown because that's how we roll in N. Devon

Sometimes. Depends, as they can be cheaper when on offer

Tatooine

I don't use any tinned food,

Fresh veg and fruit (as much as it can be), I try and use mainly wild meat companies on line for my meat. I like good coffee, again oedred online. Anthing else is probably branded, stevia instead of cane suger, nuts and seeds.

Me! It has to be bisto best, pepsi max, fairy liquid, and heinz beans.

Everything else is negotiable! For example, I tried Saunsburys ketchup and its a swap. I am not a brand snob, its based on quality, and value for money.

Yep Fairy liquid we buy as well, we tried lidl washing up liquid and ended up using more to clean the dishes, it was very thin and didnt get any bubbles or grease off the plates.

I still buy branded, I will never compromise on branded baked beans. I'll sell my soul to the devil before I buy cheaper beans

All over

You are just savvy in doing that. Many are just 'straight copies' of the branded ones. I never buy everything from one place. Also fresh stuff like fruit, veg, meat, I go with better quality even if its a tad more expensive and whenever possible from local independent, market or farm shop. We all shop around these days when everything is so much more expensive.

I used to have nescafe gold £7.50 a jar I picked up tesco gold by mistake as it looks the same. It also tasted the same so I've stuck with thar at £2.75 a jar.

Still have heinz beans though

I won't ever compromise regarding grocery shopping, happy to save the pennies in other ways if we need to but never scrimp on food quality

In a town full of colours

Yes, scarily enough the supermarket choice isn't that far off in price for a premier brand, I tend to brand shop when on a offer and asda and tescos seem to alternate brand offers regularly
