Look back on your post from a resurrected thread and think "what the hell was I thinking?"

Or do you usually agree with your past self and realise you've stayed true to yourself and your beliefs?

I usually look back at mine and think "You poor thing... You were trying to be funny"

Too often, this! I will have tried to make a silly joke which has clearly landed poorly and I cringe in shame!!

But if it’s a serious comment it will have been wise and fascinating.

I kind of like my threads. The waffling, pseudo thinky ones. The excited Tiggering ones. There's one that I'm a bit embarrassed about but luckily it's full so can't get bumped. I think they're a good indicator of my thoughts/chats/moods at that time.

Oh actually; slight cringe at my sex ones where I'm clearly really horny and talking about past events/things to come. I condom myself with those.

Many (many) years from now someone will find old posts of mine, leading to them thinking I must have written books on the great dilemmas of the age. Queue a wasted life searching for those writings. They will look back in regret, consoled by the aphorisms they found scattered under my name.
