Sometimes, I like to keep certain pieces of lingerie on.

Hold ups can be fun to keep on. A corset or waspie with suspenders, sometimes ok too (although they’re usually restrictive for long periods

). A thong pulled to one side is sometimes fun. But I don’t like to keep my bra on because I like some attention on my boobs. But I absolutely love wearing heels during sex. Not sure why, but it adds something!

By all means keep those high heels on if we’re fucking against the wall or over a desk …

Lingerie can stay on if you want it to. As much as I love skin against skin, a little bit of decoration can be beautiful. Just not all the time. I mean, falling asleep together and still having it on might feel a bit weird.

Heels for sure, unless they have sequins or glitter. I’m always really conscious of them scratching so lose those pretty quickly.

Hold ups. Suspender belt and stockings. These are usually the last to come off..

It’s not quite the trenchcoat thing, but I have a beautiful memory of a night where all the lingerie and the heels stayed on …

I was working late on my own, way past sunset, and frankly my studio was fucking sexy. Industrial chic with double-height floor to ceiling windows. The main workspace was raised up half a level and hidden from full street view by rows of shelves, full of stuff.

A girl I’d been seeing texted me. We’d been flirting idly all day, but now it was late, and she was tipsy at a work-related party. She was a lawyer. You probably know what their parties are like. She asked to see me. So I gave the studio address and invited her over.

She rang the buzzer, I let her in. She was wearing a long, but tight, black dress and a long black coat. An already-open bottle of champagne in one hand.

I kissed her and walked her up to the workspace. Offered her a seat, put some tunes on, and went to get glasses for the wine. When I came back, her coat was gone and so was her dress.

She was wearing sleek black lace lingerie, high black stilettos, and a huge grin. Suspenders, stockings. Nothing else. She slipped her knickers off and stepped out of them, then held her hand out, beckoning for a drink.

And that’s how she stayed dressed for the rest of the night, while we had sex over my desk, in one of the office chairs, and on the wooden floor. Even up against the glass windows downstairs at one point, feeling particularly brave.

So, erm, yeah. I guess I think even the heels can stay on sometimes. When you’re not using a bed.

Not a trench coat but a long winter coat. It was great fun. However driving there, I was absolutely convinced that would be the night my car would breakdown. Thankfully it didn't.
