I was thinking about this the other day.

I honestly can’t think of a single thing I’ve done that has made my life worth while. If I hadn’t been at any of my jobs, someone else would have done the same thing. I’ve never been married or had kids. I don’t volunteer or do anything special or different.

So what has been the meaning of my life?! Hmmm….

I should add, this is absolutely not a ‘woe is me/cry for sympathy’ post

The meaning of life ? Umm.. we are born to live, we live to die. I sometimes think that life was already written for us all. Life is like a stage and we are all playing our part, until its over and then eventually we come back in another life and do it all over again.

From memories of going to parties in my youth, there would always be some bloke four sheets to the wind holding forth in the host's kitchen on this subject.

The secret was to make sure you didn't get stuck between him and the doorway leading back out after you replenished your drink.

From further memory, I think it was only on such occasions I ever heard it being discussed, never mind giving a toss about whatever it might be!

I don't think there is necessarily a one size fits all answer to that question, meaning, it's up to each of us to determine what the meaning of life is.

Or, maybe the question should be, what gives your life meaning? Then thats what the meaning of life is to you.

Or, life's purpose is to sustain life. So whatever we can do to ensure that. Look after nature, other life forms, animals, insects, the ecosystem...

Is different for everyone

Could be you’re daughters sons or grandchildren or it could be chasing a dream you want to achieve

For me the Meaning of life is
