Hi, I've just discovered vinted" and was hoping someone could help with a certain question please..

Whilst browsing the women's section obviously) I came across some heels which I then went on and bought..

They are being delivered to a shop near my workplace.

What happens with the "billing" address??

Is that purely for me to confirm my identity for picking up said item?

Or do vinted send anything to my billing(home) address?

Ive googled it and just go round in circles!

Your billing address will appear on the label of the parcel. The shopkeeper will normally ask for it to verify its your parcel

No unless you choose home delivery option

No. They need your billing address to correspond to your payment details. The delivery address is where your purchase will go to. The most contact you’ll get from vinted is delivery update emails

You can pay extra to have it posted to your home stress but it’s purely for confirmation of who you are, that’s why they ask for ID on collection

Ok brilliant thankyou so much..

I can go look and buy lots of underwear now with no fear of lots of letters coming through my post box saying "thankyou for your purchase of your agent provocateur item"..

You’ll be fine, absolutely nothing gets sent to your billing address, it’s just a formality for processing payments

I find depop to be very expensive as people want RRP for used items a lot of the time
