Pershore

Turn off 'Roaming' on your phone. If you are planning to use GPS maps, download the maps before your trip and GPS will work without data.

Nothing - your tariff is exactly the same in Europe as it is here

Your be fine if your on this is a copy and paste from they website

I googled 02 roaming europe uk

I would do the same and go to the page and screen shot it and if you hit with any changes fight it as you have screen shot proof

I would post link but against forum rules

Travelling in our Europe Zone

We’re the only major network that isn’t bringing back EU roaming charges up to 25GB. Wherever you fancy going in our Europe Zone (48 destinations), you’re free to call and text just like you would in the UK.

If your UK data allowance is over 25GB, you’ll have a Roaming limit of 25GB when travelling in our Europe Zone. That means you can use up to 25GB of your allowance without being charged extra. If you go over your Roaming Limit, it will cost you £3.50 per GB.

The limit for free in Europe is 25GB, even if you have unlimited data here. There used to be a Europe data bolt-on that made it cheaper so if you think you'll need more than 25GB, check if there's still a bolt-on. You can check your average monthly data usage via your O2 online account. Use WiFi in the airports, hotel/accommodation etc. Most bars and restaurants have WiFi too.
