What do you do to relax?

You’ve had a busy week in work, or youv’e been running around and no time to yourself, and now you’ve got a spare couple of days (each weekend) to do what you want to do.

What do you get up to as a way of relaxing?

It’s a bank holiday for a lot of us. What are your plans?

for a penny

I don’t relax by not being busy.

Got to be doing.

Either out and about looking at things or, as it’s a fine day, gardening.

My life is so mundane normally with children, work and chores that if/when I get time I don't relax I tend to go wild

I don't get the weekends off as I live with teens

If I have a couple of hours I like a visit to the Art Gallery. It's so quiet in comparison to my house.

Walk and climb and run, weekends away alone in my van with just the dog as company.

At home I’ll sit and listen to music and read

I often go for long walks, absorbed with the café culture whilst wandering the cobbled and quiet streets of London.

Mr has a rum and Mrs has a gin.

We then cuddle up and watch a little Netflix.

We only get our time every second weekend.

It's great to relax together..

It depends on my mood. Sometimes music. Sometimes just silent listening to the birds. A red hot salt bath. If I'm really lucky then I will get D to give me a good rub!

"Gym "

We don't use gym to relax lol.

Gym is good for our mental health but we definitely don't relax in there.

My mental relax comes abit later when I go out on my bike and get lost in whatever scenery I end up going past. Physically my relax will come from the long bath that follows, with wine and scented candles.

I like pottering and clearing odd jobs then spending a lot of time alone and horizontal. Maybe the occasional walk. But largely horizontal.

Listen to music whilst doing some DIY/ or some cleaning round the house.

Watch a film, in the bath on a cold winter's day.

Have a massage.
