Liverpool

One of the most iconic groups of the 80s, reforming this weekend and playing at St George’s Hall Liverpool, all for the Eurovision.

They had some epic songs back in their day, I’m hoping this will be the start of maybe working together on new material.

I think the key sentence in your post is ‘ they had some epic songs back in their day’.

Enjoy your reminiscence, don’t spoil it.

Between a cock and a soft place

Listen to the original version of Relax, its not good.

Then listen to Trevor Horns' production, they're like 2 different tracks. (I love the Relax video too)

A brilliant band, so many good tracks.

The video was filmed in the state ballroom, a popular nightclub back then, i used to frequent it back in the 90s

Sad to say but I think it's 20 years too late but it's an epic moment still.

Welcome to the pleasuredome is an iconic 80s album and to be fair to the production team it still stands the test of time today

Came to say the same thing. Without his brilliant production skills they probably would have languished in obscurity, as the original was pretty flat and soulless.

Their second moment of good fortune was Mike Reid refusing to play Relax on his Radio 1 show as he deemed it obscene- thus creating much headlines, interest and the success that came with it.

Do agree though, their trinity of Relax, Pleasuredome & POL were pretty epic tunes!
