would that have been Goldwyns in Birmingham in 1989 that was a very small venue part of Edwards No8 nightclub that was owned by Eddie Fewtrell (Brums answer to the Crays) also saw them a few years later at the Hummingbird a not so small club that was owned by members of UB40, I’m guessing that you know that Jan sadly died 10yrs ago ?

Yes. Eddie was a local legend, I’ve read his book too.
