I am a massive fan of this series, and it’s back for another on Netflix in June (no date given yet!)

I’ve just been watching Black Museum, which is *quite* an episode. None of them are for the faint hearted, but that’s a dark one.

Have you ever watched? Would you? Any episodes that especially caught your imagination?

(If you do watch, skip over series one, choose that series last. Trust me on this )

The Prime Minister one always. It was just incredible.

I think there’s only 3 I’ve not watched, I love San junipero.

The one where they can rate each other on everything, the more stars the higher up you are socially, yeah that was

If you like black mirror I’d recommend inside no.9, 7/8 series, all individual stories each episode, 30 mins each.

Black mirror is fantastic. I remember one episode where everyone's life depended on how many likes they got on social media. I can see that happening

There’s too many brilliantly weird ones for me to name but the one where the Prime Minister does some dodgy stuff with a pig which then almost turned out to be factual stands out to me.

Also the dating app one. Where the little device tells you how long your relationship will last. Imagine if fab was like that

I’ve loved all of them so far. Incredible imagination and all of them are exaggerated scenarios we already see/feel/experience in the modern world. My favourite was the one where a Cartoon Cat won the election..I thought about that a lot when trump was elected..life imitating art

Series 1 is brilliant. National Anthem and the entire history of you had me at the edge of my seat.

Also enjoyed s4 USS Callister, I’m a bit of a sci fi - Star Trek nerd so this episode was a treat, very creepy though lol

Oh I had no idea it would be renewed for another season! I remember watching the first episode and needing to wait a month to watch the rest because the ending was not ok

Ones that stick out to me are Nosedive because I'm adamantly ainat social media so that episode as a whole just pissed me off.

Shut up and dance was another one, purely because the twist at the end made me feel dirty for supporting him as a protagonist

Leeds (Home) / Sheffield (Work)

Became somewhat ruined when it Netflix took over. Now just full of A-list celebs to get the views in. Yes there were some A-list actors in the first two series but they weren’t as big as they were now back then. I’ll still watch though simply because I love twists going all the way up until the last seconds of the episode.

It’s horrifying, isn’t it, that episode? But well acted. When that woman at the garage just won’t fuck off!

I haven't seen it in a few years but might catch up before the new series starts. Did you also watch the interactive movie, Bandersnatch? I remember spending like 4 hours on it trying to get all the endings

Such a good show, couldn't believe but also loved the fact that it was made by Charlie Brooker. Just a bit different from his TV wipe!

Think I read somewhere that the writers don't recommend binge watching it

Oh yes! And then cajoled the guy I was seeing at the time it came out, to watch - he wasn’t fussed at all, whereas I thought an interactive film was just the most revolutionary concept

I’ve only watched a few episodes (maybe half a dozen), it’s a bit hit and miss IMO, but very clever. And I like Charlie Brooker, although always thought he was a better Guardian columnist than his TV schtick.

Love love Black Mirror.

Love love Inside No 9.

I've been watching the latest episode hence being late to the thread.

Love, Death and Robots has a similar anthology theme - like the aforementioned some great episodes, some less than.

I really enjoyed Fifteen Million Merits. And White Bear. Black Museum was harrowing. Actually those two are. I think Charlie Brooker might be my dream man.

I was about to mention love death and robots but you beat me to it...

I got to about episode 4 of the first series and realised I liked it so much because it was basically an animated version of black mirror.

Very variable. Liked the pig episode. Thought the interactive one was tedious however. Not sure technology on our TV's has caught up with the concept yet.

Yes! Well, it took me a couple but I really enjoy watching that sort of anthology - a myriad of genres, styles but often with darker topics/horror elements.

This was one of my faves too.

The Orville had a similar episode where if you got so many dislikes you were arrested and or executed.. maybe real life won't go that far?

Inside No. 9 is brilliant too, as is Love Death & Robots.
