To answer all our messages.

After a few days out and about we have 96 unread emails. If I try and answer them I'll get more back. Being on fab could be a full time job!

I see people moaning on here about being ignored and how couples and single fems come across as arrogant. I'm sorry but I can't keep up and I'm considering a mass delete and start again!

It's so mad that if I wake in the early hours and can't sleep I come online to read forums. People see your online with seconds and start mailing you.

Sounds like we're popular? Right until we want to meet some of these people !

Question is, assuming others get the same problem how do you deal with these messages?

Use your filters if it gets overwhelming especially late at night and it works wonders then when you want you can take the filters off again.

There's a trick to late night surfing. As soon as you log in change your status to say, "Not swinging at the moment as we have a fresh outbreak of herpes."

Then change it back to your normal status just before you log off.

I block any one who sends a message that I am not interested in. This saves them time from messaging me again.

It also results in fewer messages of course cause I'v ed out those not suitable. I sometimes message them( pasted!)that I have done this and why.

I ignore them , I have it in my profile I won't reply to every message. Not my fault if it doesn't get read

I apply as many filters as I can, and with my rather long profile that puts a lot of people off, I don't get many messages.

I store em all up in the inbox and then have a mass delete moment ........ and we start all over again .........

Yes - for those that complain at getting too many, forward the on to those who complain at getting none and allow them to reply on your behalf.

Thereby addressing the imbalance and making everyone's lives a little happier!

I have adopted a rule. I won't reply to why message that doesn't include a detailed description of the sender's shoes AND an offer of a basket of fruit. If people can't follow those simple rules there's something wrong with them anyway
