Today I've learnt that Edinburgh is the UK UFO hot-spot. 18% of Edinburgh residents claim to have seen a UFO which is the highest number in the UK.

I'm not one of them and don't believe any of them

What things have you learnt recently which surprise you?

It’s called ‘whisky on the rocks’ because in the days before ice cubes and freezers they used rocks from the river the chill it.

Most people probably already know that but I only learned about it the other day

Sagittarius A

That I have ADHD, found out yesterday, bit of a surprise if I am honest.

Also one time I was in Edinburgh I think I was abducted by aliens. I woke up in bed with a rugby player (female so that was a relief)

No idea how I got there. Last I remember was being in a bar at silly o'clock.

You can actually buy cube shaped stones that you freeze and add to your whiskey.

It stops your ice melting and watering down the whisky.

The term "I'll swing for you" doesn't mean that you're going punch someone, but goes back to when murder was punishable by hanging
