Tom wonders why we are warned about poisonous snakes and spiders but little about the deadly Asian Hornet. What's going on here guys. The Asian Hornet is literally flying under the radar..." Why would anyone sting an Asian hornet Tom?

"They’re some evil bastards and no mistake guvnor; A single Asian Hornet can wipe out an entire honey bee colony. If anyone spots an Asian Hornet, they are strongly advised to contact their local council. " I watched a documentary about the Asian Hornet. The bees in Asia have developed a defence strategy against the Hornet. They smother it and start rubbing against it causing heat by friction. This kills it. Bees in other parts of the world are totally vulnerable and have no defence.

They seemed to have no defence against it. But the bees in Japan were using this honeyball defence. Maybe with the spread of the Internet and social media the bees everywhere learnt the strategy... ![]()
