Picture the scene, long line of stationary traffic. You ain't going anywhere cos the bloody lights are red, but the car in front moves 2 feet, stops and pulls its hand brake up! the car behind now does the same thing and so on!

Why? Are we a nation of inpatient morons ?

Sometimes it helps. Think of the car right at the back that just needs to get the back wheels clearly out of the yellow-hatched zone.

I always thought that was to stop motorbikes or other cars forcing their way into a space, that isnt big enough but they want anyways
